Usage

1. Create a virtual environment

   Open the Terminal and create a python virtual environment.

   Mac

   python3 -m venv .venv
   source .venv/bin/activate
   
2. Set up Vertex AI

   Set your environment variables:

   export GOOGLE_GENAI_USE_VERTEXAI="true"
   export GOOGLE_CLOUD_PROJECT="your-project-id"
   export GOOGLE_CLOUD_LOCATION="your-location"
   

   Or configure in code:

   gemini = Gemini(
       vertexai=True,
       project_id="your-google-cloud-project-id",
       location="your-google-cloud-location",
   )
   
3. Install libraries

   pip install -U google-genai agno
   
4. Run Agent

   Mac

   python cookbook/models/google/gemini/vertexai.py
